The Pea Green Boat

A previous itteration of 'The owl and the pussycat' this piece holds a special place in my heart. I remember I was reluctant to move on with this piece as the colours were so wonderful. The problem being that this was the only part of the piece that was working. It really was the piece that birthed the collection 'Under the lens'

Under the lens

In this collection the pieces are like snapshots or mementoes of the journey a fully completed piece has made. Some of the originals are still in process, some are just about to be available for sale and some are already completed and sold. Each piece you see in this collection is a small section of marks within the larger piece, some which remain until the end and sometimes they are lost beneath the layers that follow with just a suggestion of what was present before.
