Present Downpour

Present Downpour was created around the time of the West Peir fire. I remeber the day very well as I saw streamsof people hurrying past my shop window heading towards the beach. A friend popped their head into the shop and told me the news. I locked the shop up for a short time to go and see this very eerie sceene. For the next few months it became a kind of ritual to go down to the beach at the end of the day to see the landscape changing.

The Original made it's debut at the Brighton open house. Many locals upon viewing would make refernce to where they were on the day when they heard the news.

Present Downpour is part of The Red Dot Collection. The original canvas of Present Downpour has been sold, however prints are available in a range of sizes and formats.
